Closed beta — flying with real airline crews

Your airline roster, decoded.

Import the roster PDF your airline already gives you. SmartRoster turns it into a living schedule — flight-time limits watched, allowances estimated, and legal swap options found before you even ask a colleague.

Features

Everything your roster knows — finally visible.

The company PDF already contains your whole month. SmartRoster reads all of it, so you don't have to.

One PDF in — everything out

Flights, deadheads, standbys, training, hotels and time zones read straight from your company roster report. Local or UTC times, your choice.

FTL guard

Rolling duty and block-hour windows, rest requirements and FDP limits watched continuously — so a limit never sneaks up on you mid-month.

Legal swap finder

Before you ask a colleague, see which trips can legally trade — legality checked in both directions, with the reason when it can't.

Allowances & payslip estimate

Meal allowances computed per station and per window, flight pay estimated per month — validated line-by-line against real company allowance reports.

Weather that reads itself

Live METAR & TAF for every station on your roster — raw or decoded into plain language, with the forecast group active at your departure time flagged, wind alerts included.

NOTAM briefings built in

Powered by SmartNOTAM: the notices for your destinations rewritten in plain English and ranked by severity — right inside the day view, no separate portal.

Your whole life, one calendar

Add personal events and reminders right next to your duties — birthdays, medicals, family plans — and export everything to your phone's calendar. Flying and living, finally in one place.

Friends & crew

Line up your month against your friends' and spot the days you meet — at base or downroute. Find colleagues on your fleet to trade with.

Offline first

Aeroplane mode, hotel Wi-Fi or nothing at all — the app opens with your full roster, always. The cloud is optional, never required.

Airlines

Reads real rosters. Yours next.

Every airline prints its roster differently — SmartRoster learns them one by one, validated against real crew PDFs.

Privacy first

Built on the one rule that matters: trust.

Crew data is sensitive. SmartRoster was designed by a line pilot who wouldn't accept anything less.

No credentials, no scraping

We never ask for your crew-portal login — not at signup, not ever. You import the PDF the airline already gave you. That's the whole trick.

Your roster stays yours

Everything lives on your device and works offline. Cloud sync is optional — and your roster is only visible to friends you've accepted, no one else.

PDFs you send us

A roster you submit for a new airline is used for one thing only: building the reader for that format. It's never published, never shared, and deleted afterwards.

How it works

From waitlist to wheels-up in 3 steps.

The beta is invitation-only while we grow carefully, crew by crew.

1

Join the waitlist

Leave your e-mail and airline below. Flying for an airline we don't read yet? Attach one roster PDF.

2

Get your invite

We send invite codes in waves as support for your airline and fleet comes online.

3

Import and fly

Open the app, import your roster PDF, and your whole month lights up — offline, on any phone.

Join the beta

Get your invite.

Tell us where you fly. If your airline is already supported, you go straight into the next wave of invites. If it isn't, one roster PDF is how it gets added — and you'll be the first to know.

What happens to what you send
  • Your e-mail is used only to send your invite — no newsletters, no sharing.
  • A submitted roster PDF is used solely to build your airline's reader, then deleted.
  • We never ask for company credentials. Not here, not in the app.

Speeds things up for any airline — and it's how a new airline gets added. Used only to build the reader, then deleted.

FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Do you need my company login?
No — never. That's a founding rule, not a feature. SmartRoster only reads the roster PDF your airline already gives you. There is no field anywhere in the product that asks for crew-portal credentials.
Is it free?
The beta is completely free. If paid plans arrive later, beta pilots will be the first to know and the best treated.
Does it work on iPhone?
Yes — SmartRoster runs as a web app on iPhone: open it in Safari and use "Add to Home Screen" for the full-screen, offline experience. Android has a native app. Store apps are on the roadmap.
Can other pilots see my roster?
Only friends you have explicitly accepted — and you can see theirs in return. Everyone else sees at most your name in the crew directory. You can also opt out of sharing entirely and keep using everything else.
My airline isn't listed. How does it get added?
Send one roster PDF through the form above. Every airline prints its roster differently, so we build and validate a dedicated reader per format. Your PDF is used only for that, then deleted — and you get the first invite when it's live.
Is this an official airline app?
No. SmartRoster is independent, built by line pilots, and not affiliated with or endorsed by any airline. It's a personal organization tool: always verify duty and legality information against your company's official documents.

Your next roster deserves better than a PDF.
